【 Groups 】

There are altogether 4 groups: A, B, C und D
Group A: youth or children's choir (Children and youths until 18)
Group B: men's choir
Group C: women's choir
Group D: mixed choir (male and female voices)

Classical

One prescribed song and one freely chosen song, both have to be performed in their original language and must not be longer than 12 minutes

a. One of the following prescribed songs

b. One freely chosen song by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Strauss or a hymn by any composer

During the competition, the prescribed song is performed first, followed by the freely chosen one.

 

Folk songs

Regardless of the classical or folk class, please choose one type of registration according to the type of choir.

any two songs from your own or any other country in your own or a foreign language, together they must not be longer than 12 minutes.

Group A Gruppe A: Jugend- bzw. Kinderchor (Kinder oder Jugendliche bis 18)

4. FRANCK : Panis angelicus (Arranged for 2 voices by Pierre Gouin)

Group B Gruppe B: Männerchor
1. ROSSINI : “Della fortuna instabile” from < La Cenerentola >
2. WEBER : “Was gleicht wohl auf Erden ” (Jägerchor) from < Der Freischütz >
3. VERDI : “Or co’ dadi, ma fra poco” (Soldiers' Chorus) from < Il Trovatore >
4. LECOCQ : “Marche et chœur des voleurs” from < Ali-Baba >

Group C Gruppe C: Frauenchor
1. VERDI : "Noi siamo zingarelle" from < La traviata >

Group D Gruppe D: Gemischter Chor (Männer- und Frauenstimmen)
